Course Elements
Below are some of the elements offered on the Raccoon Ridge Adventure Challenge Course. Because our challenge course is always in a state of improvement and development, the list is only to serve as an example of what your group might do while with us.
Born Again (Low Element)
Each member of the team must pass through the (ugh!) t*i*g*h*t* tire with help from their teammates.
Climbing Tower (High Element)
Newly redesigned with teambuilding in mind, the climbing tower is now belayed by the group, with facilitators present to monitor safety!
Islands (Low Element)
The alligators surrounding you are only imaginary, but the need to use Communication, Respect, Encouragement, Safety, and Trust to reach the other side is a real exercise in teambuilding.
Indoor Elements
Inclement weather does not close our Challenge Course to guests. Our indoor initiatives can be done at Great Oaks or on-site at your location.
Leap of Faith (High Element)
Can you be one of the participants that reaches the trapeze bar? Did we mention you will be jumping from the top of a pole over 20' in the air?
Log Jam (Low Element)
Communication will make or break your team as you seek to realign yourself on the pole.
Air Steps (High Element)
At 15’ above the ground, group encouragement is a huge factor for many people attempting this mentally-challenging activity.
Spider’s Web (Low Element)
A traditional teambuilding activity, your team must pass through the web without waking the spider.
Whale Watch (Low Element)
All your group has to do is balance a wooden platform. Sound simple enough? You’ll need the 5-Pillars of Teamwork to finish this job.
Zip Line (High Element)
What better way to get off the High course than a 300 foot zip line!
